Baserow is an open-source platform for no-code databases and the privacy-friendly alternative to Airtable. You can create relational databases as easily as creating a spreadsheet in your browser: define fields, link tables, publish forms for data collection and set up views for different teams – all without any programming knowledge. Baserow can also be integrated into existing workflows and tools via the REST API. With Managed Baserow Hosting from OpenHosting, you can use all of this as a ready-to-use service, without the row and user limits of the Airtable Cloud.

The practical benefit: wherever Excel spreadsheets are currently being circulated by email, Baserow creates a central, collaboratively maintained database with access rights and a change history.
