PeaNUT is a streamlined, responsive web interface for Network UPS Tools (NUT), the tried-and-tested open-source standard for monitoring uninterruptible power supplies. Instead of navigating the NUT client using command-line commands, you can see your UPS’s battery level, current load, voltage and remaining runtime at a glance – clearly presented and, thanks to its mobile-optimised design, easy to read on your smartphone whilst on the move. With Managed PeaNUT Hosting, you receive this dashboard as a fully configured service: simply connect your NUT instance, and the status overview is ready to use straight away, without you having to worry about installation, containers or server maintenance.

Who is PeaNUT suitable for?

PeaNUT is aimed at anyone who operates one or more UPS units via the NUT protocol and wants to check their status directly. Typical users include home lab operators who protect NAS devices and servers at home, as well as IT managers in small businesses with their own server rooms. Clubs and workshops with their own infrastructure also benefit: the lightweight dashboard is resource-efficient and provides exactly the information that matters in an emergency – without the need for a complex monitoring system.
