Hermes Agent by Nous Research is an open-source AI agent (MIT licence) that grows with you: It permanently remembers projects, preferences and problems solved, builds its own skills from this, and is accessible via Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, email and CLI – one agent, one memory, all channels. Scheduled automations handle recurring tasks such as reports and morning briefings without supervision, whilst isolated sub-agents and sandboxing ensure that experiments remain neatly separated from the rest. With Managed Hermes Agent Hosting, you can use this personal assistant without having to set up and maintain a server yourself.

You link your own API keys and are free to choose which AI models the agent uses – billing for model usage is handled directly by you, with no middlemen.
