Actual Budget is a fast, open-source finance app based on the envelope budgeting principle: every franc is allocated to a specific purpose before it is spent. You record income and expenditure, automatically categorise transactions using rules, and keep track of your finances with clear reports. The data is synchronised between your devices in encrypted form and is stored exclusively on your own server – not with a third-party provider. With Managed Actual Budget Hosting, you can enjoy this independence without having to worry about installation, server maintenance or updates.

The web-based interface runs in a browser on both desktop computers and smartphones, so you can enter budgets whilst on the move. As Actual Budget works offline, you can carry on working even without an internet connection; any changes will be synchronised later.
